How a Bonk.fun launch works on chain
Bonk.fun runs on Raydium LaunchLab, Raydium's bonding-curve launchpad program. Every launchpad built on LaunchLab has its own platform account with its own fees, and Bonk.fun's is the one named letsbonk.fun. This tool calls LaunchLab's initialize_v2 instruction with that platform account, so the coin belongs to Bonk.fun on chain, the same way a coin made on letsbonk.fun does.
The program creates a standard SPL token with 6 decimals and a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, writes its name, symbol and metadata link with Metaplex, and opens a SOL bonding curve that sells 793.1 million tokens. It keeps no mint or freeze authority. When buyers have put 85 SOL into the curve, it completes and Raydium migrates the coin to a CPMM pool with the raised SOL and the remaining 206.9 million tokens.
If you set a dev buy, the same transaction wraps your SOL, buys from the brand-new curve with LaunchLab's buy_exact_in instruction and unwraps what is left. Because the curve is created in that transaction, the price can't move in between: you get the first, cheapest tokens.
What a Bonk.fun launch costs
SOLTidy charges a flat 0.1 SOL per launch, inside the same transaction. LaunchLab charges nothing to create a coin; the creator pays about 0.0106 SOL of rent for the mint, metadata, pool and vault accounts plus Metaplex's 0.01 SOL metadata fee, about 0.021 SOL in all. Your dev buy pays Bonk.fun's trading fee, which is taken out of the SOL you spend: 1.5% as of November 2026, made of Raydium's 0.25% protocol fee and Bonk.fun's 1.25% platform fee, read from chain before you sign.
Example: a 1 SOL dev buy on a fresh curve gets about 34.1 million tokens, 3.41% of the supply. The launch then costs 1 SOL for the buy, 0.1 SOL to SOLTidy and about 0.021 SOL of rent and fees, roughly 1.12 SOL in total. A dev buy of about 86.3 SOL takes the whole curve and the coin migrates at once.
| Dev buy | Tokens | Share of supply |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 SOL | ≈ 17.3 million | ≈ 1.73% |
| 1 SOL | ≈ 34.1 million | ≈ 3.41% |
| 5 SOL | ≈ 151 million | ≈ 15.1% |
Bonk.fun or Raydium's own LaunchLab?
Both use the same LaunchLab program and the same curve: 793.1 million tokens for 85 SOL. The difference is the platform account. Bonk.fun's charges 1.25% per trade and lists the coin on letsbonk.fun; Raydium's own LaunchLab platform charges 0.75% plus a 0.05% creator fee and lists it on raydium.io. To launch there instead, use the LaunchLab launcher. To buy from several wallets in the launch block, use the Bonk.fun bundle launcher.
Questions & answers
Will my coin show up on letsbonk.fun?
The coin is created under Bonk.fun's LaunchLab platform account, which is how Bonk.fun and Raydium's launch listings tell their coins apart. What letsbonk.fun chooses to feature on its pages is up to Bonk.fun.
Can I get an address ending in bonk?
Yes. Type bonk in the custom address suffix and the browser searches for a matching key before you launch. A four-letter suffix takes about 11 million tries, usually a few minutes on a laptop; the key never leaves your browser.
Can I change the supply or decimals?
No. This tool launches with the settings Bonk.fun uses: 1,000,000,000 tokens with 6 decimals, 793.1 million sold on the curve and an 85 SOL target.
Why buy in the same transaction?
So the first buy is yours. A buy sent after the coin appears can be beaten by bots watching for new coins; a buy inside the create transaction can't.
Is this non-custodial?
Yes. The mint key is generated in your browser, you sign in your own wallet, and the coin and tokens are yours. SOLTidy never holds them.
Is there a fee?
A Bonk.fun launch costs SOLTidy's flat 0.1 SOL, paid in the same transaction. The LaunchLab program charges no create fee; the new accounts take about 0.021 SOL of rent and Metaplex's metadata fee, and your dev buy pays Bonk.fun's 1.5% trading fee.
