How a mint is watched
For a mint address, the sniper reads the mint and its pump.fun bonding-curve account together, every 0.5, 1 or 2 seconds. As soon as the curve exists it buys on the curve with pump.fun's buy_exact_sol_in instruction. With Raydium and Meteora included, it also asks Jupiter, at most every 3 seconds, for a SOL route limited to Raydium (AMM v4, CPMM, CLMM, LaunchLab) or Meteora (DLMM, DAMM v1 and v2) pools, and buys through the first venue that has one.
Jupiter has to index a new pool before it can route to it, which can take from a few seconds to a few minutes. For pump.fun coins there is no such delay: the curve account is read straight from the chain.
Speed and the honest limits
SOLTidy's RPC is HTTP only, so the tab polls rather than streams. A confirmed transaction appears to the tab one to two seconds after its block, and the buy takes another second or two to build, send and confirm. Bots running on servers next to validators, and bundled launches, buy in the same block. Expect to buy after them, at a worse price, and set slippage with that in mind.
Each buy is quoted against the current curve or pool, simulated first (optional, about 0.2 to 0.5 seconds), signed in the tab and sent to the RPC, and to Jito's block engine as well when you set a tip. It is re-sent every second until it confirms or its blockhash expires, and retried once with a fresh blockhash if it expires.
What it costs
SOLTidy's fee is 0.5% of the SOL each wallet spends, in the same transaction as the buy. The venue's own fee is in the price: on pump.fun's curve 1.25% for a new coin (November 2026); on pools, the pool's fee tier. The priority fee is a fixed 0.0001, 0.001 or 0.005 SOL per buy on the curve (Jupiter sets it, capped at the same level, on pools). Example: three wallets buying 0.1 SOL each at Fast priority spend 0.3 SOL, pay 0.0015 SOL to SOLTidy, about 0.003 SOL in priority fees and about 0.0045 SOL of refundable token account rent.
Questions & answers
Do I need to keep the page open?
Yes. The sniper is code running in this browser tab. Close the tab, put the computer to sleep or lose the connection and it stops. Keep the tab visible too: browsers slow down background tabs.
Are my private keys safe?
They never leave the tab: parsed in memory, used only to sign, never sent, logged or stored, and wiped when the sniper stops. Still, use burner wallets with only the SOL you plan to spend.
Can it snipe a Raydium launch in the first block?
No. It finds Raydium and Meteora pools through Jupiter, which lists new pools with a delay. For first-block buys you need a server bot reading the chain directly.
What happens if the coin is already trading?
In one-mint mode the sniper buys at once on the first check. In launches mode it ignores coins it saw later than your limit (8 seconds after their block by default).
Is sniping profitable?
Usually not for late buyers. Most new tokens lose almost all their value quickly, creators often sell into early buys, and buys fill up to your slippage worse than quoted. Treat every snipe as money you can lose.
Is there a fee?
SOLTidy charges 0.5% of the SOL each wallet spends on a buy, paid by that wallet inside its own buy transaction, so a buy that doesn't land costs no fee. Pool or curve trading fees are part of the price, and each wallet pays its own priority fee and optional Jito tip.
