How the sniper sees a launch, and how fast
Every pump.fun create transaction includes pump.fun's mint-authority account (TSLvdd1p…eokM); buys and sells don't, so its history is a feed of launches only. The sniper asks the RPC for that account's newest transactions every 0.5, 1 or 2 seconds, fetches each new one and reads pump.fun's own CreateEvent from its logs: name, ticker, metadata link, mint and creator, plus the creator's buy in the same transaction. SOLTidy's RPC is HTTP only, without websockets, so polling is the only option in the browser.
The RPC lists a transaction only once it is confirmed. In our tests on mainnet the sniper decoded launches 1 to 2 seconds after their block time (block times are whole seconds), and a buy then takes another second or two to build, send and confirm. Server-side bots that read blocks straight from a validator, and launches bundled with the dev's own buys, land in the same block as the create. You will usually buy after them, at a higher price on the curve.
Filters and modes
New launches mode checks each coin against your filters before buying: any of your keywords in the name, the ticker or both; the SOL the creator spent in the launch transaction (a range, for example 0.1 to 5 SOL); at least one Twitter, Telegram or website link in the coin's metadata; and optionally skipping Mayhem mode coins. It also skips coins it saw too late (8 seconds after their block by default), never buys the same coin twice and stops after the number of coins you set.
Creator mode buys the next coin whose creator or signer is the wallet you enter, then stops. One-mint mode watches a mint address and its bonding-curve account and buys the moment the curve exists; if the coin is already live it buys at once, and if it has graduated it buys on PumpSwap.
What a snipe costs
Each wallet buys with pump.fun's buy_exact_sol_in instruction: it spends exactly the SOL you set, with pump.fun's trading fee (1.25% on a new coin as of November 2026) taken out of it, and fails if it would get fewer tokens than your slippage allows. SOLTidy adds 0.5% of the SOL spent in the same transaction. The priority fee is fixed per preset (0.0001, 0.001 or 0.005 SOL) so a buy needs no fee lookup before it sends; a Jito tip, if set, goes in the same transaction and the buy is also sent to Jito's block engine. A wallet's first buy of a coin pays about 0.0015 SOL of token account rent.
| Item | SOL |
|---|---|
| Spent on the curve (pump.fun fee included) | 0.05 |
| SOLTidy fee (0.5%) | 0.00025 |
| Priority fee (Fast) | 0.001 |
| Jito tip | 0.001 |
| Token account rent, refundable | ≈ 0.0015 |
Questions & answers
Is this as fast as a paid sniper bot?
No. Paid bots run on servers next to validators and often land in the same block as the launch. This sniper runs in your browser over an HTTP RPC and usually buys one to a few seconds later. It is a convenience tool, not a way to beat professional bots to the first block.
Are my private keys sent anywhere?
No. Keys are parsed and used to sign in this browser tab only, never sent to SOLTidy or anyone else, never stored, and wiped when the sniper stops, when you press Clear or when you leave the page.
Does it keep running if I close the tab?
No. It runs only while the tab is open. Browsers also slow down timers in background tabs, so keep the tab visible while it is armed.
Why did a buy fail?
Usually slippage: other bots bought first and the price moved past your limit. With simulation on, the buy is checked before it is sent, so a failing buy costs nothing. Without it, a failed buy that lands still pays its network and priority fee.
Will a sniped coin go up?
Most don't. The large majority of new pump.fun coins lose nearly all their value within hours, and the creator may sell into your buy. Use small amounts from burner wallets, and consider the Pump.fun Auto Sell tool to set a stop-loss.
Is there a fee?
Every sniped buy pays SOLTidy 0.5% of the SOL it spends, sent from the buying wallet in the same buy_exact_sol_in transaction; a buy that fails or never lands pays nothing. pump.fun's curve fee is already inside the price, and the wallet also pays its preset priority fee plus any Jito tip you set.
