SOLTidy vs Helius Orb
Orb is the stronger explorer: Helius's archival data gives it full history with reverse search and time filters, and it explains any transaction with AI and covers devnet and testnet. SOLTidy is the better fit for bulk or export jobs Orb does not document, such as checking 1,000 wallet balances, exporting every token holder or NFT hashlist, and watching live priority fees by tier. Use Orb to look things up and SOLTidy to pull lists out.
Helius Orb: Helius's Solana block explorer, launched in October 2025, with human-readable transactions, an Explain with AI button, token pages and in-app swaps. Facts checked November 5, 2026 from orbmarkets.io.
Choose SOLTidy if…
- You need balances for up to 1,000 pasted addresses with totals and a CSV export.
- You want every holder of a mint, not just the top wallets, as CSV, JSON or TXT.
- You want live priority fees by tier in micro-lamports and dollars, filtered to the accounts your transaction writes.
- You want a token rug check that names each authority and Token-2022 extension.
Choose Helius Orb if…
- You want a full explorer with wallet history, blocks, validators, programs and network stats.
- You want an Explain with AI button that summarizes a transaction using Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
- You need devnet or testnet, or history searched oldest-first or by slot and time.
- You want spam tokens and junk NFTs hidden from wallet history.
- You build on Helius: its APIs have a free plan with 1 million credits a month, including a priority fee API.

Orb or XRAY?
Helius officially launched Orb on October 29, 2025 as its block explorer, and Helius's developer docs now document Orb and do not mention XRAY, the earlier open-source Helius transaction explorer, whose GitHub repository is still public. Orb runs on Helius's archival system and its getTransactionsForAddress method, which is what enables reverse search, slot and time filters and activity heatmaps.
What each is built for
Orb is for looking things up: a transaction with an AI summary and raw JSON, a wallet with spam filtered out, a token's top holders and markets, or a program's IDL and verification status. It also lets you swap tokens through DFlow or Jupiter for a 0.1% UI fee.
SOLTidy is for lists and checks. Its balance checker reads up to 1,000 wallets in batches of 100 accounts, the holder snapshots export every holder of a token or NFT collection, the priority fee tracker samples the last 150 slots every 10 seconds, and the rug check grades a mint's authorities and extensions. All of these are free and need no wallet.
Questions & answers
What is Helius Orb?
Orb is a Solana block explorer built and maintained by Helius, launched on October 29, 2025. It shows human-readable transactions, wallets, tokens, programs, blocks and validators, and can explain a transaction with AI.
Is Helius XRAY still the Helius explorer?
Helius's developer docs document Orb, launched in October 2025, and do not mention XRAY. XRAY is the earlier open-source Helius transaction explorer; its GitHub repository is still public.
Can I export token holders from Orb?

Where can I see current Solana priority fees?
SOLTidy's priority fee tracker shows live fees from the last 150 slots with Low, Medium, High and Turbo tiers and the cost in SOL and USD. Developers can also call Helius's Priority Fee API, which costs 1 credit per request.
