SOLTidy vs Solscan

For browsing Solana, Solscan is the better tool: it is a full explorer with history, labels, analytics, program pages and an API, and SOLTidy does not try to replace it. SOLTidy is worth opening for narrower jobs Solscan does not do in one screen, like checking up to 1,000 wallet balances at once, exporting every holder of a mint, or reading a failed transaction with its error code explained. Most people will use both.

Solscan: The most widely used Solana block explorer, with transaction, account, token and program pages, CSV reports and a paid Pro API. Facts checked November 5, 2026 from solscan.io.

Choose SOLTidy if…

  • You need SOL and token balances for a list of up to 1,000 addresses at once, with totals and CSV export.
  • You want every holder of a token or NFT collection as CSV, JSON or TXT, ready for an airdrop.
  • You want a failed transaction explained, with known program error codes decoded in plain language.
  • You want these jobs free, with no account, captcha or API key.

Choose Solscan if…

  • You want a full explorer: account history, blocks, validators, programs, labels and token analytics.
  • You need transaction history going back to 2021, a TX Map flow view, or an account's transfers as a CSV report.
  • You want a watchlist, personal labels or notifications, which need a free Solscan account.
  • You are building something and need an API: Solscan's Pro API covers holders, balances, decoded transaction actions and prices.
  • You need devnet or older transactions; SOLTidy's decoder reads mainnet only.

An explorer and a toolbox

Solscan is built to let you browse everything on Solana: any account's history, every token page with holders, markets and analytics, program pages with Anchor IDLs, validators and blocks. SOLTidy has no explorer and links to Solscan from its own tools.

SOLTidy's explorer-style tools each answer one question. The transaction decoder reads one signature and lays out balance changes and errors. The balance checker reads a list of addresses in batches of 100. The holder snapshot reads every token account of a mint and sums balances per owner.

Exports and bulk lookups

Solscan's CSV report covers an account's transfers, selected by type and time period behind a captcha, and its data starts on July 7, 2021. For bulk data across many addresses, Solscan points developers to its Pro API, where multi-address endpoints are not part of the $49 Lite plan.

SOLTidy's exports are aimed at airdrops and audits: a full holder list for a token, a hashlist and holder list for an NFT collection, or a balance table for up to 1,000 wallets. They are free and run in your browser against a Solana RPC.

Questions & answers

Is the Solscan API free?

Solscan's Pro API packages page lists no free plan. Plans start at $49 a month (Lite, 20 million compute units) and go up to $1,099 a month, with enterprise pricing on request.

How do I export all holders of a Solana token to CSV?

SOLTidy's token holder snapshot lists every holder of an SPL or Token-2022 mint and exports CSV, JSON or TXT for free. Solscan shows holders on the token page, and its documented CSV report covers an account's transfers.

How can I check the balance of many Solana wallets at once?

Paste up to 1,000 addresses into SOLTidy's batch balance checker to get SOL, USD and up to five token balances with totals and a CSV export. On Solscan you look up addresses one at a time or use the Pro API.

Why did my Solana transaction fail?

Open it on Solscan or paste the signature into SOLTidy's transaction decoder. Both show program logs; SOLTidy also translates known error codes from the System, Token and Jupiter programs into plain language.
