SOLTidy vs Orion Tools

For creating and managing the token itself, SOLTidy costs a fraction of Orion Tools: about 0.154 SOL in fees for a token with mint revoked and no freeze authority, against 0.5 SOL on Orion. Both now create Raydium pools, remove liquidity and lock CPMM liquidity with Raydium's Burn & Earn; SOLTidy's listed fees for those are lower (0.1 SOL per pool against 0.5, 0.09 SOL per removal against 0.1). Orion is a smaller, focused site if all you want is token to pool.

Orion Tools: A Solana token creator with a short path from token to Raydium pool, plus liquidity removal, LP burning, Raydium Burn & Earn and a swap. Facts checked November 5, 2026 from www.oriontools.io.

Choose SOLTidy if…

  • You want a fixed-supply token for about 0.154 SOL in fees instead of 0.5 SOL.
  • You revoke or mint later and want to pay 0.054 SOL per revoke or 0.02 SOL per mint rather than 0.1 SOL.
  • You want the Raydium pool (0.1 SOL), liquidity removal (0.09 SOL) and Burn & Earn lock (0.02 SOL) at lower listed fees.
  • You also need a multisender, holder snapshot, metadata updates or a Token-2022 tax token.
  • You want to keep the freeze authority off without paying to revoke it.

Choose Orion Tools if…

  • You want to create a Raydium AMM v4 pool directly; SOLTidy's pool creator makes CPMM pools (it creates OpenBook markets for AMM v4 separately).
  • You want a small site focused on token, pool and swap only.

What a token launch costs on each

Orion Tools' creator starts at 0.4 SOL because Revoke Freeze is marked as required, and its FAQ gives 0.5 SOL with the mint authority revoked as well. On SOLTidy the token is created without a freeze authority, so there is nothing to revoke, and revoking the mint authority in the same transaction adds 0.054 SOL: 0.154 SOL in fees plus about 0.016 SOL of rent and Metaplex fee, or about 0.17 SOL in total.

If you then create a Raydium pool, Orion's page states 0.5 SOL for it and does not say whether Raydium's own pool fee is included. SOLTidy's pool creator charges 0.1 SOL and shows Raydium's own create fee (0.15 SOL on current CPMM tiers) and the rent separately before you sign.

For the other creators' fees with and without revokes, see Solana token creators compared.

Where Orion Tools fits

Orion Tools is focused: create a token, make a Raydium pool, remove or burn liquidity, and use Raydium's Burn & Earn, which locks a CPMM position permanently while you keep the right to its trading fees. SOLTidy now does all of these too, with its LP Locker for Burn & Earn and fee claims.

SOLTidy also covers more of the token's life: metadata updates, minting, freezing accounts, multisending, holder snapshots, burns, Token-2022 tax tokens with fee claiming, launchpad bundle launches and mass buys and sells. Orion's site states that all transactions are final and refunds are not given, so check the total before you sign on either.

Questions & answers

How much does Orion Tools charge to create a Solana token?

Orion Tools' FAQ says token creation costs 0.4 SOL, or 0.5 SOL with the mint authority revoked; its form shows 0.40 SOL by default with Revoke Freeze marked as required. SOLTidy charges 0.1 SOL plus about 0.016 SOL of rent, and 0.054 SOL more to revoke the mint authority.

Do I have to revoke freeze authority to create a liquidity pool?

Several DEX pool programs have historically refused mints with a freeze authority, which is why Orion makes the revoke part of its price. SOLTidy creates tokens with no freeze authority by default, so the token is pool-ready without an extra fee.

Can SOLTidy create a Raydium liquidity pool like Orion Tools?

Yes. SOLTidy's Raydium pool creator makes a CPMM pool for 0.1 SOL plus Raydium's own create fee and rent, optionally with bundled first buys. Afterwards you can add or remove liquidity for 0.09 SOL, lock it with Burn & Earn for 0.02 SOL or burn the LP tokens for 0.045 SOL.

Is Orion Tools or SOLTidy non-custodial?

Both have you approve transactions in your own wallet. Orion's FAQ says you alone receive the mint and freeze authority. On SOLTidy the mint keypair is generated in your browser and the fee is a visible transfer in the same transaction.
